A GDPR-compliant patient portal for a 12-clinic group: appointments, e-prescriptions, lab results and secure messaging, plus a staff console for clinicians. Currently in rollout across the clinic network.

The Challenge

Healthcare software lives or dies on trust: strict GDPR, audit logging on every record access, and zero tolerance for a patient seeing someone else's results.

The Solution

I architected a row-level scoped data layer where tenant isolation is enforced at the query level, every access is written to an immutable audit log, and all third-party communication (email, SMS) flows through signed, retried queue jobs.
